We got into Jodhpur early in the morning and wasted no time at all - we headed straight to the fort, a magnificent structure high above the city.
Later some exploring around town, and another bus trip, this time to Udaipur, which is home to the famous Palace on the Lake, as featured in Octopussy (James Bond movie, if you didnt know). We try to visit the Maharaja, but get turned away, so instead we spend the day with the regular folk of Udaipur.
